Ethanol: It is a liquid at room temperature. its melting point is 156K and boiling point is 351K. It is soluble in water in all proportions.
Ethanoic Acid: It's melting point is 290K. During winters forms ice like flakes, so it is also called glacial acetic acid. it is a trivial name for water free acetic acid.
Ester: On esterification a liquid ester is formed.

nick1016: ester . esterification when an alcohoh react with a carboxyl acid then a sweet smelling subetance is formed which is called ester . example . when ethanol react with ethanoic acid then a sweet smelling substance ester is formed .
