- Free electrical charges which are not bound to atoms or ions can cause plasma to be electrically conductive
- Some of the examples of plasma are lightning, stars, inside fluorescent lights and neon signs

The fourth state plasma is of super energetic and excited particles. These particles are in the form of ionised gases. The gas gets ionised , that is charged when electrical energy passes through it. This charging up, creates a plasma glowing inside the tube or bulb in which it is present.
