Indian army recruitments are done at soldier level for 10th/12th pass candidates, at Havildar level for graduate or postgraduate, at JCO rank Naib Subedar for 12th pass, graduate or post graduate.

Minimum of 17 1/2.

Educational Qualifications:

Matric with 45% marks in the aggregate, and 33% in each subject. No minimum percentage is essential if higher qualification exist.

Physical Requirements.

Medical Requirements:

A candidate for the post of Soldier in the Army should have good mental and physical health. Chest should be 5cm expansion. The candidate should have normal hearing and good binoculars vision in both the eyes.

The candidate for the post of Soldier in the Army should not have disease like deformities of bones, hydrocele and varicocle or piles.
