a citizen of India
a member of lok sabha or rajya sabha (if not at the time of election,then he/she must become a member of either of the houses within 6 months)
above 25 years of age
not hold any office under the profit of the gov.t
for president
should be :-
a citizen of India
above 35 years
should not hold office under the profit of gov.t
is qualified for the election as a member of house3 of the people
