What are the attributes of a very patriotic person?

Patriotism comes from the word patron, or to provide support for, often through riots in the revolutionary days where it began. So somebody who is “patriotic” is someone who supports something. Everyone stands for something, or they’d fall for everything as they say. Thus everyone is patriotic about their own ideals.

Many suggest it has to do with exclusively supporting one country above all others, which is dangerously close to the Nazi ideal of “uber alles” or above all others, something nobody can ever hope to achieve. There is always a bigger fish, and that goes for each of any given attribute you may have.

If you do want to support your people, however, that is a great idea. Make sure there are governments that serve and protect your local friends and family. It should be set up that no matter what happens, from hurricane to economic crash, everyone you know should still be able to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the constitution clearly guarantees of all citizens of the Unites States. Live elsewhere? Then find your own county’s constitution and research what your government is doing for you. If it’s not doing anything, then perhaps you ought to do something about that.

After all, everyone is a patron of their government through taxes, armed service, jury duty, voting, polls and countless other citizen duties that they ought to have a say in where all that patronizing is headed.

The attributes of a patriotic person are:

Love for the country and people

Sympathetic understanding of the needs of one’s community or society

Sense of service to others

Willingness to sacrifice for the sake of the nation.

Observance of one’s duties towards the nation.

Hope this helps.

It depends.

They could be in the armed forces, they could be undercover as central intelligence or clandestine services.

Or they could be the typical high schoolers wearing all red, white and blue.

Some would argue that patriotism is white supremacy, but I don’t agree.

America, my example here, is a melting pot of cultures that you don’t have anywhere else. Although it can be quite chunky, it’s still in one pot.

Anyway, patriotism is how different people define being loyal to one’s country, and showing pride.
