The raw materials needed for photosynthesis are: carbon dioxide and water. The plants get water from the soil as their roots absorbs it, and they get carbon dioxide from the air. The pores on the leaves take in the carbon dioxide.

The equation of photosynthesis is:

6CO2 + 6H2O + (energy) -----> C6H12O6 + 6CO2

The raw materials required for the photosynthesis are : Carbon dioxide, Sunlight, Water and Minerals.

They are obtained from : 1. Carbon dioxide is obtained from the surrounding air. 2. Sunlight is obtained from Sun, and water and minerals are obtained from the soil by roots.

Carbon dioxide + Water P/O Sunlight and Chlorophyll ------> Glucose + Oxygen..
