1. Increasing powers of zamindar's , and RAJA'S. contemporarily lead to decline of NIZAM HOLD ON several areas...
2. This adversed the situation of 12 parganas of MASULIPATNAM.., and gradually the crop yield and cultivating line declined resulting in aggravated dependence on. port activities.
3. TRADING EXPORT and IMPORT BALANCES.. The gradual decline of exports and increasing imports of final European products, led to several imbalances and led ti decline of trade..
4. Favors to European contractors in limited opportunities forced migration of trading patrons from machilipatnm to San Thomes and Madras..
5.. Trade routes developing from Bengal-Deccan-Bedar-western Doab altered the trading route for Hyderabad.

The main reason behind declining of Masulipatnam was the decision of East India Company to have relations with the prts of hinterland.. And in 18th century all merchants moved to the Princely States - namely, Madras, Calcutta and Bombay..
