what are the reason. for accepting the constitution framed by the constitutent assembly more than 50 years ago..

1=>The constitution reflect the views of its member as well as it dresses board sequence of its time .during the last 50 years several groups have questions some provisions of the Constitution but no one has ever questioned the legitimacy the constitution itself.
2=>The constituent assembly represented the people of all religion political groups and opinions different languages groups classes cast religion of the country .there was no Universal adult franchise and the members are elected by the provincial legislature even if the constitution assembly had been elected by adult franchise it composition would not have been very different.
3=>The Assembly was dominated by the Congress which represented a variety of political groups and opinions
4=>The constituent assembly work in a systematic open and consensual manner thus giving sanctity to the constitution

Some reasons for accepting the same Constitution till today are:
The Constitution does not reflect the views of its members alone. It expresses a broad consensus of its time.
The Constituent Assembly represented the people of India. There was no Universal Adult Franchise at that time. So, the Constituent Assembly could not have been chosen directly by all the people of India but it was elected mainly by the members of Provincial Legislatures, which ensured a fair share of all the regions of the country.
The Constituent Assembly worked in a systematic, open and consensual manner
