The most common reason was that the Dutch speaking community was in majority in the whole country but in minority in the capital city, i.e., Brussels and the French speaking community was in minority in the whole country but in majority in the capital city i.e., Brussels.
The majority Dutch speaking community got all the rights much later and were also poor.
This led to disagreements and tension between the two groups in Belgium.....
