Reasons for conservation of forest and wildlife are:-

). Conservation of wildlife and forests is vital for the ecological stability of a particular area.

). Forests provide employment to a large number of people and also help in generating revenue.

). These resources are essential for preserving ecological processes like fixing and recycling of nutrients in the soil, watershed protection, circulation and cleansing of air and water, etc.

). Human beings utilise the plant and animal resources for . their long term survival, e.g. milk from cows, cotton for making clothes etc.
