II) Long time of day & night in some parts of Western Countries.

(i) There is snowfall in Western countries because :-

➡ The tropics are too warm that it allow snow to fall..

➡ Snow tends to fall in places close to large bodies of water,, like oceans...

(ii) Long time of day and night in some parts of Western countries :-

➡ The Earth rotates on it's own axis from West to east in 24 hours and around the sun in 1 year...

➡ Day length varies with time of the year and distance from the equator..

➡ we see,,, variations in length of day and night time from season to season on the earth surface is due to the axial tilt of earths rotation axis with respect to it's orbital axis. ..
