1)Simon Commission came to India to look after the constitutional functions in India. Since it had no Indian member, it was boycotted by all political parties
2)In 1929 congress under the leadership of Nehru declared Poorna Swaraj but it was rejected
3)Gandhiji sent a letter to Lord Erwin stating it's eleven demands, the most important one was of removing the salt law but Lord Irwin denied. So Gandhiji started it's famous Salt satyagraha which markwd the beginning of Civil disobedience movement
