There are five factors, which determine the push and pull conditions operating in the decision of people to migrate to urban centers:

(i) Economic factors,

(ii) Demographic factors,

(iii) Social and cultural factors,

(iv) Geographical and physical factors and

(v) Political and institutional factors.

Here's ur answer friend

Reasons are as follows:

1. Agricultural employment is mostly seen in rural areas, which most of the times doesn't make a good amount of money. Even other jobs in rural areas provide mere income. So people from rural areas migrate to urban area in search of a better job.

2. Another reason for migration is education. Educational facilities are somewhat better in urban areas. So many people migrate to urban area to pursue better education.

3. Lifestyle is yet another reason. Many people believe that the kind of lifestyle urban areas offer can never be offered by rural life.

4. Rural areas face problems like unemployment, poverty, low wages, small size of land holdings, lack of infrastructural development and facilities, environmental degradation and depletion of natural resources, limited livelihood options. Hence they find it better to migrate.
