1. POVERTY -

All the social issues arise from the poverty. Most of the Indian farmers are living below the poverty line .Indian farmers are unable to afford big modern machines , high quality seeds for their crops etc.

2. LOW LITERACY RATE -

Another reason can be the low literacy rate of farmers in our country. Education makes the person more thinkable and clever . In India , most of the farmers are not literate . They don't know how to use modern inputs . Apart from farming , an illiterate person can't get job and agriculturing is the direct outcome of low literacy rate .

3. DISCRIMINATION -

Yes , discrimination is also the factor responsible for backwardness of Indian farmers . Rich landlords or merchants don't give desired wages to farmers who worked for them . This all lead to discrimination against farmers.

☆It is the responsibility of the government to give affordable loans at lower interests to farmers so that they can earn best out of their crops production by buying modern machines and high quality seeds like HYV, fertilizers etc.
