what are the reproductive parts of a flower. draw the diagram of male and female parts and name them

1) Sepal.

2) Petals.

3) Stamen.

4) Carpel or Pistil.

These are green leaves present at the base of a plant. They protect the flower in bud condition. They contain chlorophyll. So, they also help in pollination.

These are coloured leaves. They attract the insects for pollination.

It is the male part of flower. It has two parts :-

a) A long stalk part called Filament.

b) And the lower portion is Anther. Anther contains pollen grains.

It is a female part of flower. It consists of 3 parts :-

a) Upper broad portion called stigma. It reduces the pollen grains.

b) Middle thin part called Style. It transfer the pollen grains from stigma to ovule.

c) Basal swollen portion called Ovary. Ovary contains ovule which contains female gamates.
