Answer:

Global warming is the phenomenon of the increase in the temperature of the atmosphere due to the presence of excessive green house gases. Global warming will result in melting of the polar ice caps and raise the ocean level which will submerge islands and coastal areas. It will cause extreme climatic changes. Some method to reduce global warming are:

By planting more trees and protecting our trees, forests and wildlife. This will reduce the amount of the harmful carbondioxide gas in the atmosphere and reduce global warming.

By stopping the use of plastic bags and other non-biodegradable plastic products.

By reducing the burning of fossil fuels like coal and petroleum products.

By reducing the use of products like refrigerators and air conditioners which release CFC gas.

By gaining knowledge and using re-cycling method to reduce wastes and pollution of land, water and air.

By proper treatment of industrial waste before they are dumped.

By shifting to renewable energy, electric and solar energy.

By reducing exhaust emissions from motor vehicles, power plants and industries. The increasing pollutants in the air results in serious health problems. They also cause acid rains.

By closing down industries and manufacturers which are blatantly polluting air and water by hazardous industrial emissions and dumping wastes in our water sources.
