"Multiple cropping has great importance in the country like India where the demand for the food and industrial crop is more. The multiple cropping increased per area output as more than one crop can be grown on the same piece of land. The different crops on the same land can be cultivated in the different season.
This multiple cropping techniques allows the farmers to get a good result of harvest and more earning on the same piece of land by using available sources such as fertilizers, water, seeds and etc. Multiple cropping also solves the problem of feeding of the large size of the population due to the shortage of cultivated land."
