Our responsibility for others is a heavy burden- we may act too soon, or with a leaden hand, or without good cause. And we may choose poorly. But a society that does not recognize a responsibility to others loses the right to be called civilized.Everybody have some sort of responsibilities.And the responsibilities to others may very much include respecting others .And be respective always

• As a Christian, I must do unto others as I would have them do unto me.

• As an American, I must respect the freedom of others so that I can demand that same respect from others.

• As a parent, I have lots of responsibilities that others might not have.

• As a husband (actually I am a widower but I was a husband for many years), I had lots of responsibilities that others might not have.

• Looking over the above, I realized the first covers all the others. Further, standing alone it pretty well covers what responsibilities all people have toward all people. Whether one is a Christian or not, it serves as a good rule.
