The citizens of Saudi Arabia are denied of many rights. Some of them are as follows:
a. The citizens do not have the right to elect or change their rulers. They cannot even elect their Legislature. The King appoints the Executive and the Legislature.
b. Citizens cannot form political parties or any political organisations. Media cannot report anything that the king does not like.
c. Many public restrictions are imposed on women.
d. There is no freedom of religion. It is compulsory that every citizen should be a Muslim. The Non-Muslim citizens should practice their religions privately.
