rods- these are light sensitive cells. Have a function to absorb light and to convert the message in the form of electrical signal.
cons- same as rods but are sensitive of colours and human eye have three types of come red, green, yellow.
pupill-controlles iris which controls the amount of light entering our eyes...

Iris is a thin structure which controls the size of pupil whereas Pupil prevents damages to eye from upcoming light by increasing it's size
