Liver releases a fluid called bile , it helps in the digestion of food and also breaks fats into fatty acids . Bile is important for the process of digestion . The main function of liver is to process the nutrients absorbed in small intestine . Liver metabolizes carbohydrates , fats and proteins .

Pancreas makes pancreatic juice, called ENZYMES . Pancreas helps digestive system by making hormones . Pancreas is also responsible for regulating blood sugar levels , for this it secret hormones called insulin.
