x+20/x=12

x^2+20=12x

x^2-12x+20=0

x^2-10x-2x+20=0

x(x-10)-2(x-10)=0

(x-10) (x-2) =0

[x-10=0]

x=10 and [x-2=0]

x=2

Hence , the roots are 10 and 2.
