According to Borh's Bury rules :-
- The maximum no. of electrons present in a shell is given by the formula 2n2 ( where n is the shell no.) .
- The maximum no. of electrons that can accommodate in the outermost shell is 8 .
- Electrons are not accommodated in a given shell , unless the inner shells are filled with electrons .
