what are the safety devices required in electrical circuit to protect them from short circuit ? i) to which wire should be the connected ii) explain their functions

resister it will resist the over flow of current. connected to copper wire

1.fuse: it is an safety device that is used to break the circuit so that none of the short circuit takes place.
It should be connected with live wire.
it has low melting point



2.MCB's: it is the second safety device used to protect the circuit from short circuit .
it just break the circuit whenever any fault appear
It is also connected to live wire.
