What are the safety precautions when handling with gas in the kitchen and in the lab?

Some safety measures in the kitchen are,

1.always swhich of the regulator of the gas pipe when not in use.

2. always ensure that there's no any problem with the pipe ,like leaking of gas ,it might caught fire

3.if there is any problem , then immediately take some safety measures.

In the laboratory

1. don't touch or open any Gas bottle with out the recommendation of the teacher

2.Always try to wear a mask on your mouth and hand in such cases.
