Mainly govt set foot on providing food security...to create food security govt arrange many schemes like PDS...and MDM(now change as jagananna gorumudhha)for poor people or who are studying in schools...and set anganwadi for small children and arrange ASHA workers to took care of poor pregnancy ladies and help them...

--THUS TYPE SCHEMES ARE ALLOYED TO POOR FAMILIES BY THE GOVERNMENT.....
