Conflict is explained as difference of opinion regarding ideas, wishes/desires.  

Conflict can arise between couples, work peers and political governments. .

They are namely:

Relationships

Conflicts with friends/family members are caused by miscommunication, negative emotions as according to Jim Melamed who is founder of the Oregon Mediation Center and former chairman of the ODRC.  

Interests

Conflicts of interest are explained  as disagreement/type of competition where requirements of one are ignored over needs of other.  

Values

Conflicts in values are seen between persons raised in different cultural/religious backgrounds who have different opinions over right and wrong.  

Leadership

Leadership styles differ among individuals which causes conflict in the work environment.
