IT is a superlative 'best' shows that there is no other story that is better that one and lots of people are buying it making the book buyers more intrigued to possibly buy the book in the store. Basically it is persuading the people to buy the book because it is the best one there

The title ''Best Seller'' is significant because the whole story depends upon it. As the best seller novel 'the rose lady and travelyan'' is a love story where an european princess and an american swordman fall in love and later marry. John pescud was against this ,as he thought that a man generally marries a girl of similar background.

However, in his own life he, a simple salesman falls in love with the much reputated and rich girl of virginia and later marries her. This shows the hypocritisism of John A. Pescud.
