The Nepal's constitution drafting process continued to struggle for as long as seven decades. The constitution consists of total 68 articles. The first constitution was named as the Government of Nepal Act in the year 1948.

The India's constitution drafting process continued to built for only two years and some months. The constitution consists of 448 articles.

The major differences between the constitution drafting process in India and Nepal are as follows:

Nepalese constitution proclaims the country to be unitary constitutional and the constitution of Nepal has been shaky and changing every now & then.

On the other hand, according to the Indian constitution; India is a federal country and her constitution is quite intact though it has been revised and amended certain times.
