What are the similarities and differences between - a) jowar and moong b) onion and coriander c) leaves of banana and mango d) coconut tree and jowar stalk plant

a)Jowar is a monocot crop with a single seed but Moong is a dicot with two seeds. Jowar stems from fibrous root system and Moong stems from tap root system. Jowar has parallel veins system in their leaves but Moong has reticulate vein system in their leaves. Both jowar and moong are annual plants.

b)Onions grow as tubers under the soil whereas the coriander seeds are found on the tip of coriander plants. Coriander is almost sweet whereas onions are spicy. Onion is a vegetable whereas coriander is a herb. Both onion and coriander are used in cooking.

c)The leaves of banana are very long and have bifurcations on their edges. Leaves of mango are short in size. Leaves of Banana has parallel venation.
