Physical weathering:  

Physical weathering refers to that factors were physical factors play vital role

For example: wind, temperature and water.  

  • Temperature: due to high temperature rocks breakdown into small particles.  
  • Water: water causes biological wreathing in different ways.  Rain, running water, Wave action
  • Wind: Due to Rapid and stormy wind carrying sand particle  

Biological Weathering:

  • Biological organism play vital role in biological Weathering.
  • For example: Lichens, bacteria and fungi.
  • In presence of moisture in soil biological organism secrete carbonic acid.
