what are the similarities between rural and urban women condition

Rural women

and Urban women of India have to do the multitasking of earning for the family

and taking care of the family.  Very

rarely, men folk give a hand in household chores.  Thanks to the technology boom, it has reached

even the villages.  Since they are stuck

with their work and family, they have no “personal time” for them.  This is the reason that women face lots of

health issues related to stress.

There are women

who live in poverty both in urban and rural areas.

There are

daily wagers.  As far as rural is

concerned, they are employed in the farms. In urban areas, they are employed in

factories.

Some of the

jobs are same both in rural and urban. 

For example, teachers, shopkeepers etc.
