Similarities between procedural and Substantive democracy  

These are two kinds of democracy that are prevailing in certain countries. There are more differences than the similarities between them here are a few points that show the similarities between the two.

  1. Both of them are a form of democracy(although procedural is a namesake democracy).
  2. They both carry on the voting process to select the democratic head although in procedural the voting is done by Institutions(which are selected by people) while in substance it is done by the people.  
  3. The objective of both is to find a leader or representative for the country.
