First of all, what is suspension and collaidal solutions..
SUSPENSION - it is non - homogeneous mixture. In which solids are dispersed in liquids. It is called suspension. It is a heterogeneous mixture and solute particles don't dissolve in solvent but remain suspended. The particles (solute) can be seen by naked eyes.
COLLOIDAL SOLUTION - this is also a heterogeneous solution. The particles of a colloid are uniformly spread throughout the solution because of the relatively smaller size of particles as compared to the particles of suspension. It seems like it's homogeneous mixture but actually it's heterogeneous mixture.
Now, similarities between suspension and collaidal solutions :-
• both are heterogeneous mixture.
• particles of both suspension and colloidal solution scatter when a beam of light is passing through them and make it's path visible.
Hope it's right :-)
