The six seasons of Indian climate are summer, monsoon, autumn, pre-winter, winter and spring seasons.
EXPLANATION:
- The cyclical changes of seasons take place due to revolution of earth around the sun. Due to the revolution of the earth, sunlight falling on earth's surface falls on different parts of earth during different periods and these causes change in the seasons.
- In India, most of the country except the extreme southern part of country experience six different types of seasons. The first season is summer season which starts during April and lasts till May. Then comes monsoon season or the rainy season which lasts for about three months, that is from June to August.
- Then, it is time for an autumn season which remains for a period of two months from September to October. Then comes the pre-winter season when the temperature is not very low but moderately low, it lasts for generally one month, that is the month of November.
- The fifth one is the winter season which remains for two months, which is in December and January when the temperature is low in most of the country and very low in northern India. The last season is the spring season which lasts for about two months that is in February and March.
