First of all, the players should be active and good runners.

In kho kho, players sit opposite to each other like one faces left the other right then the next left and so on and spaces are left in between the one who sit so that the team which runs can run from between the spaces left. Then one player tries to catch the other running players and if they are caught then they are out. Minimum 20 players are required to play this game.

Chasing skills : Pole diving, sudden change of direction, tapping, diving ,grasping, late kho, giving kho

Running skills : Running, zigzag, avoiding ,dodging ,position on kho kho play ground

12 player are needed in kho kho.
