What are the social and political factors that control the distribution of population?

Social Factors:  Areas with better housing, health facilities and education are more populated.

e.g., Mumbai. Better transport facilities also contribute to the increased population of any region.

Political factor : People tend to move away from places where there is social and political unrest.

Syria is an example of such a place. Usually people migrate to countries which have political stability as it leads to better economic and social life.
