The similarities first: Both believe in One God, the Creator of the Universe. His Name which I shall not name fully in respect to fellow Jewish Quorans is YHWH. Both believe God 's plan for redemption of this fallen world was through the Messiah. Both also had the Jewish scriptures as tbe inerrant Word of God whose jurisdiction is eternal.

The difference:

Christians like me believe the Messiah has already come and He is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We believe God redeemed the world from the power of sin through Christ's atoning death on the cross and His subsequent resurrection and ascension to heaven. Christians await the Return of the Messiah as the Judge of all flesh and the King of the world. Jews do not believe Jesus is the promised Messiah, and they await the Coming of the Messiah.
