Sodium Chloride Injection 0.9% is a clear, colourless solution.

It contains -
- sodium chloride 0.9% as the active ingredient plus
- Water for Injections and
- Hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment.

# Uses of NaCl 0.9%-
- Sodium Chloride Injection 0.9% is used to replace body fluids and salts lost through body
- Other medicines which are given by injection or by a drip, may be diluted with Sodium Chloride Injection 0.9%.
- Sodium Chloride Injection 0.9% can also be used as a sterile irrigation solution.

sodium chloride injection 0.9% used for clear ,colourless ,sterile solution intended for parenteral administration to human beings

a)for use in prophylactic and replacement therapy requiring  the use of isotonic saline solution.

B). in the reconstitution ,dilution and making up of certain drugs.

C) As a saline irrigant

soduim chloride injection 0.9% used for replace lost body fluid and salt .other medicines which are given by injection or  by drip may be diluted with soduim choride injection 0.9%

special warning and precaution for use

sodium Chloride 0.9%w/v solution for Injection should be administered with caution to patient with congestive cardiac failure,pre-eclampsia  hypertension,

care is also required when administering this solution to very young or to the elderly patient.

you should not be given sodium chloride injection 0.9% if you have or have had any medical condiion

congestive heart  failure ,severe kidney problems,cirrhosis of the liver
