There are infinite number of solutions for this linear Equation in 2 variables.
To find the solution,
Firstly make a equation for y
=> y = 0 + 2x
y = 2x ---(1)
Different Solutions for this equation can be found by putting different values of x
◆ Let us put x = 1 in eq.(1), we get --
y = 2(1)
y = 2
So the First solution is (1,2)
◆ Put x = 2 in eq. (1), we get --
y = 2(2)
y = 4
So, the second solution is (2,4)
◆ Put x = 3 in eq. (1), we get --
y = 2(3)
y = 6
So, the third solution is (3,6)
◆ Put x = 4 in eq. (1), we get ---
y = 2(4)
y = 8
So the fourth solution is (4,8)
◆ Put x = 5 in eq. (1), we get ---
y = 2(5)
y = 10
So the fifth solution is (5,10)
So the solution for this equation are -- (1,2),(2,4),(3,6),(4,8),(5,10)
Same like this, Infinite number of solutions can be found. Just put different values of x then you will get values of y corresponding to the values of x.
