The major sources of Irrigation are :
1. Rivers
2. Dams
3. Ponds
4. Lakes
5. Wells
5. Ground water
Irrigation is done in two different methods :
⚫ Traditional Method : This methods were used in early days and this methods require both time and labour.
e.g.
Moat
Dhekli
Chain Pump
Rahat
⚫ Modern Method : These methods are used now a days. These methods are replaced with traditional methods because modern methods don't require much time and labour.
e.g.
Sprinkler System
