what are the square roots of 196?


can someone please help me?? im so confused on this topic and i just cant understand ow to do square roots!?!?!
if anyone can tell me how square roots work that would be great!!! :D

Here's the step :-

• Make the digit in the pair of two from the last of the no.

• Here 1 comes first , so 1 is the square root of 1 .... divide it by 1

• take the pair together

• add 1 + 1 i.e, 2

• now divide 96 by 24 × 4

and will get 14 as ans !!
