The steps involved in tissue culture are:
Stage1: It is the intiation phase. In this phase, explants are derived from any part of the plant to be propagated is sterilized and initiated into the culture.
Stage 2: It is the multiplication phase. At this stage, the invitro plant material is re divided and placed with plant growth regulators that induce proliferation of multiple shoots. This process is repeated many times until the number of plants desired is reached.
Stage 3: It is the root formation phase. It involves induction of hormones to induce rooting and the formation of complete plantlets.
