Water scarcity is a very big problem that India is facing today. Many reports suggests that the scarcity is more due to the human factors than anything . Such as industrialization, irrigation, domestic uses etc. The government must take some measures to deal this scarcity some of them are given below:

- Rainwater harvesting                                                                                                        - Exploiting groundwater                                                                                                - Using farm ponds                                                                                                            - Creating awareness about proper utilization of water and reduction of water shortage.
