✐Government has taken a number of initiatives to conserve flora and fauna. Some of them include
- establishment of wild life sanctuaries
- biosphere reserves and
- national parks which are the demarcated regions for flourishing flora and fauna.
Apart from these, many awareness programmes have been conducted by government like 'Vanmahotsav' and social forestry for planting of trees to conserve forests.✍
