Stereotype thinking attached with the upbringing of boys and girls in India:

In India, girls are expected to grow up and marry, have children, do the housework and take care of the family. Hence, girls are brought up to be gentle and kind. They are usually encouraged to learn cooking, stitching and knitting.

Meanwhile, the boys are expected to work outside home bound to earn money to support the family. They are also encouraged to do well in sports and studies so that they become strong and intelligent.
