1) One super computer made in india is called PARAM. It is developped by the CENTER OF DEVELOPEMENT OF ADVANCED COMPUTING.
2) Another super computer made in India is called cluster-computer "Kabru". It is made by the INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES.

Super computer helps common people indirectly. Weather forecast land records, geographical mapping, e-governance records, for example , will be done by super computers. But the output of these activites benefit the common man.
