⇒TEACHINGS OF KABIR:

Kabir believed that god is one and formless(nirguna) even though different religious groups give Him different names and forms.like the Sufi,he preached that god could be reached in many ways.

Kabir condemned discrimination on the basis of religion, caste and wealth.they also rejected meaningless rituals.he conveyed simple messages through different types of poems, including dohas, bishnupads and sakhlis, which are very popular to this day.

Kabir's verses were composed in the bhojpuri language mixed with newly evolved language called urdu. the kabir granthavali and the bijak also contain collections of kabir's verse.

⇒TEACHINGS OF MIRABAI:

Mirabai wife of the crown prince of mewar, was an ardent devotee of lord krishna. she was the disciple of ravidas,a saint who belonged to a caste considered untouchable.

Her teachings were inbuilt in her songs in which she  openly challenged the norms of the “upper” castes and became popular with the masses in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

She taught the world the way to love God. She rowed her boat dexterously in a stormy sea of family troubles and difficulties and reached the shore of supreme peace—the kingdom of love. Her lyrics infuse faith, courage, devotion and love of God.
