Explanation:

The cold within refers to the lack of feelings for hatred of others which is nothing short of a Cardinal sin. Many of us develop this coldness in our hearts out of some prejudice. This prejudice may relate to race, colour, caste, region or religion. It makes us mean stingy, selfish, greedy,or unkind.

Answer:

The theme of the poem 'cold within' is very simple which shows the real perspective of human behaviour and nature. The poet shows the human discrimination against race, caste, gender, religion, colour ,rich and poor which is the biggest evil for our social being. people nowadays are becoming selfish who only think about himself.

This poem shows that how human 's cold nature against others can led themselves into problems just like these people who have died not because of the cold outside but because of the cold within .

the discriminating nature in their heart, the feeling of revenge, and their judging attitude is letting them not to give their sticks to the fire which can be the saver for them. everyone was thinking that "why they give their sticks to save someone else life" and "they will only help to those who will help them" . By this attitude everyone died by the pale nature against others and the cold in their hearts.
