the child sees many things which fascinate him . Some are -

1) He sees a toy store an the toys present in the store . He is fascinated by the toys and wants them .

2)he sees a glowing mustard seed with butterflies , dragonflies and other insects. he starts playing in the fields and tries to catch the butterflies .

3) he sees worms crawling on the roadside .

4) he hears doves cooing and gets excited

He lags behind as he is fascinated by all the things

The lost child is a story written by MULK RAJ ANAND.

It is the story of a little child who was very curious in nature. He was going to a fair with his parents. He has also desire to purchase toys, sweets, balloons, garlands of flowers, take a ride on roundabout and he also requested to his parents.

But later he understood that parents are more important than everything.
